RACE LOCATION
The Only Half Crazy Half takes place in the South Valley area of Salt Lake County. Only 25 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. The staging area is in the community of Daybreak in South Jordan and the race begins up Rose Canyon in Herriman.

PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be on Friday, September 13, 6 - 9 pm.  At the RunGr8 store in Riverton.  Please see the RunGr8 website for address.  Please provide photo ID. On the map above, it is where the "Finish Line" arrow is pointing.  

PARKING
Athletes will be directed to park in the Kennecott Land Office parking structure (nice and shady) directly across the street from SoDa Row to the North.  Spectators are welcome to park in Soda Row customer parking and there is also overflow parking in the field just West of SoDa Row.  Please see above map.

AID STATIONS
Eight aid stations will be provided. There will be one at the Start, one at the Finish and one at each of the following mile markers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12. Aid stations will include water, an electrolyte drink, and Aquaphor. Portable restrooms will also be available at each aid station. Medical staff will be stationed at mile marker 6 and at the finish line.  There will be potties along the course at miles 3, 7, and 11.

BUS RIDE
Please arrive at the staging area by 5 am.  Buses will depart from the staging area (SoDa Row West Parking Lot, map) beginning at 5:15 am.  The last bus will depart at 6:15 am.  The time window to get all the buses to the start line is very tight, so please take an early bus.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once registration has been completed you will not be able to cancel or transfer your registration for any reason. Refunds will not be given for any reason.

CLOTHING
There will be a drop station at the Start area for clothing.  You will also be able to drop clothing along the course at aid stations. Clothing will be taken to the finish line area until noon on race day.  After race day the lost and found will be at a location TBA for one week.  After one week, items will be given to a charitable organization. Race management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

TIMING
This will be a chip-timed event.  The race will begin with a "gun start" so all participants will have the same start time.  Please plan accordingly. 

RULES
The Only Half Crazy Half Marathon adheres to USA Track & Field rules and regulations.
1. Race Management reserves the right to remove a runner from the course if, in our judgement, it is possible that serious or fatal injury could result from continued participation. Please exercise wisdom in your participation.
2.ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONAL SUPPORT VEHICLES, BABY STROLLERS, AUTOS, BICYCLES, ROLLER BLADES/SKATES, MOTORCYCLES, ETC., WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. 
3. Runners accepting aid from personal support may be disqualified. 
4. Private vehicles attempting to transport runners to the start will be stopped and turned around. 
5. Non-registered participant pacing is PROHIBITED and may result in disqualification.

SPECTATORS
We ask that there be no spectators on the course.  However, spectators are more than welcome at the finish line area.

PACERS
Pacers will not be provided.

START TIME
The race begins at 7 am.

AWARDS
Finisher medals will be given.  First, second, and third place awards will be given for overall and age groups. 

PHOTOS
Photographs will be on-site to document your race experience. Photos will be available for purchase from the photographers website following the race.

RESULTS
Results will be posted periodically throughout the race and will be posted online HERE.
